SERA / TAZENQOR

A focused question.
A bounded evaluation.

For music software teams, researchers and creators exploring reliable AI-assisted score editing.

Ways to work together

Workflow evaluation

Examine where scoped MusicXML edits, diff review and validation fit into an existing notation workflow.

Research collaboration

Discuss constraint preservation, editing reliability and reproducible evaluation with a distinct research question.

Integration feasibility

Test a small exchange boundary before agreeing on a plugin, API or deployment project.

Start small, agree on the evidence

  1. 20-minute technical discussionIdentify the workflow, technical contact and a task worth testing.
  2. Small-sample feasibilityAn indicative scope is 3 permitted scores and 6–10 agreed tasks over 1–2 weeks.
  3. A scoped proof of conceptIf feasibility is established, discuss an approximately four-week evaluation with agreed deliverables, costs and acceptance criteria.

Scopes and schedules are illustrative, subject to technical review and agreement. Integration and ongoing support are scoped separately.

What we can measure together

Target-edit completion; changes outside the requested scope; preservation of explicit constraints; score validity and host compatibility; manual corrections and time. Musicians review musical suitability separately.

What to include in your first message

  • Your organisation and the musical workflow you want to improve.
  • The notation software, version and score formats involved.
  • One example of a desired edit and the content that must remain unchanged.
  • Your technical contact, indicative timing and whether you seek research or a commissioned evaluation.

Use a non-confidential description first. Sample permissions, data handling, deliverables and rights are agreed before any project starts.
